WATERHOLD COCOBLEND POTTING SOIL

Black Gold: 2 Cu.Ft. Bag

Waterhold Cocoblend contains a combination of coconut fibers (coir) and Canadian Sphagnum Peat Moss gives your outdoor container plants the advantage of water retention against constant exposure to heat, wind and sun. We add earthworm castings and pumice to make this a high-performance growing medium for all your gardening applications. Does not contain copolymer crystals (polyacrylamide), commonly found in other Waterhold potting soils.

ORGANIC POTTING SOIL

Black Gold: 1.5 Cu.Ft. Bag

This Natural and Organic Potting Soil’s rich, loamy mix is a premium choice for all-purpose gardening applications. Our 100% organic base consists of screened earthworm castings, Canadian Sphagnum Peat Moss, compost and forest humus. We blend in perlite and pumice to ensure optimum aeration.

JUST COIR

This OMRI Listed low salt organic material is just what the name implies, “Just Coir”, actually coconut coir pith. We take the highest quality coir available, rinse it to reduce salts and then reconstitute it from an awkward difficult to use compressed bale into a more user friendly ready to product. Black Gold® Just Coir was formally sold as Sunshine® Pro Just Coir and has become a popular product with hydroponic gardeners.

EARTHWORM CASTINGS

Black Gold: 4 qt. Bag

Earthworm Castings is excellent for use as a top dressing, diluted to make a rich liquid “tea” or mixed with soil to stimulate plant growth. Black Gold® Earthworm Castings improves soil structure and increases microbial activity in a way that outperforms most commercial fertilizers. Minerals and nutrients from earthworm castings are in a water-soluble form, making them readily available to plants.

SOF'N-SOIL GYPSUM

USG: 40 lb. Bag

Sof’n-Soil Lawn and Garden Gypsum makes its calcium available to plants far faster than limestone – though similar in chemical composition, it is 150 times more soluble than limestone. It won't upset soil pH balance – Sof’n-Soil Lawn and Garden Gypsum a neutral material, with a pH value near 7.0. Limestone and other lime products are alkaline materials which raise soil pH which is detrimental to acid soil-loving plants. It won't change chemical makeup of plant nutrients – an increase in soil pH induced by adding limestone can change the chemistry of plant nutrients. Sometimes the affected nutrient becomes insoluble and is not available to plants. So, even with sufficient plant nutrients in the soil, an alkali condition can be created which causes plants to starve for nutrients.

PAHROC GIANT #4 PERLITE

Pahroc #4 grade perlite is the perfect medium for hydroponics because of its larger size it won't slip through the holes in your net pots like regular sized perlite.  Works great for mixing with potting soil for superior aeration and maximum root growth!  A good % to have of perlite vs. soil is about 10-20%.  The more the perlite the quicker your medium will drain and provide great aeration.
